On 3 November 2025, Dr. Wichan Bhunyakitikorn, Director of Division of Epidemiology, Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health delivered the Opening Remarks at the “Data to Policy Training” under the Data Impact Program, which was held in Bangkok, Thailand.

The training was organized by the Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP Thailand), Division of Epidemiology, Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health during 3-7 November 2025 to enhance the capacity of public health and government personnel in utilizing data for decision-making and public health policy development; in addition to strengthen the technical competencies in building knowledge in quantitative data analysis and economic evaluation, that will enable government staff from various organizations to effectively utilize and communicate data in support of evidence-based health policy.
